BRINGING THE BOROUGH HOUSE BACK TO LIFE
We were so happy when we heard these clients wanted to update pretty much every square inch of their home. They had some major things they wanted to preserve and highlight but also wanted to change most of it to match their style. We kept the Mahogany inlay in the flooring throughout the 1st floor and a stone wall that was featured in the pantry. These were unique to the home and time period and we loved incorporating them in the design.
We changed the layout of the kitchen by taking down the wall to open up the dining room and kitchen. We added the Butler’s pantry and re did the laundry and mud room area.
The clients were happy to say goodbye to their violet and black master bathroom and bring in a fresh and timeless look. We love the combination of the white oak cabinets, black herringbone floor and gold accents. We are so happy they get to enjoy this space for many years to come.
