Borough Cottage Update

This project was totally different from the popular white kitchen people are used to seeing. We love the client’s inspiration drawing from a west coast cottage vibe. We stayed within the footprint but the outcome was dramatic and changed the aesthetic of the entire home. The clients saw a cabinet sample in our office that was light blue with shutter style doors and designed their kitchen around that. We opened up the dining room wall and made a cozy banquette just off the kitchen. To carry the blue throughout the home, we added custom millwork in the hallways and painted the doors and interior trims to match the kitchen cabinets. We tied in the cabinets with gorgeous wallpaper and added beams to the kitchen for warmth. We are excited for them to have their first cozy winter in their new space!
